Editors are great. Asking them to check all outgoing comms against a list of 200+ ‘flagged terms’ is less great. I made a simple web-app to handle it for them instead.

    The tool provides suggestions on what words should probably be fixed before publishing anything. It’s more guideline than law.

  • 3. Check your work

    Definitions for each word are readily available because… well… English is a silly language. Better safe than sorry.

The tool is self-service, and maintained by the comms team by managing their pre-existing Smartsheet. Take good care of your editors.
