Our global designer partners don't use XD, Sketch, or Figma. The most important part of new tools is adoption and, unfortunately, our rest-of-world partners just weren't ready to make the switch.
So, I built a standardized toolkit for our designers. Drag-and-drop, modular 'packs' let designers quickly mock up wireframes in Photoshop. Once the layout is locked in, it's another drag-and-drop to place content. The template generates all of the components needed to build a detail page and automatically feeds that into a pre-made presentation for internal reviews.
Ultimately, these templates reduced design hours by a minimum of 12%, and allowed the people who used them to focus on their creativity instead of their tools.
